Distortions

DISTORTION RESEARCH
Ironically, the most verifiable and tangible anomaly observed/detected at the site, is also the most nebulous. These distortions can be observed in both the day and night and can best be described as flowing or circulating blurriness, not unlike heat mirage. Most commonly observed in the form of curtain-like columns, it sometimes is seen as a pond ripple or a distortion that looks to be erupting from a single spot.

The above experiment was done with a roll of 35mm film with 24 exposures. The first two photos were daytime backdrop shots. The subsequent 22 photos were taken at 10 minute intervals and notes were taken concerning the presence of a distortion. This was a yes or no answer that was compared to the final photos to see if the distortions were correlated to the blurry pictures with the large file sizes. This was accurate 21 of 22 times in this experiment. This is a small sampling and more experiments need to be performed.

Characteristics associated with the distortions include the following:

Manifests in the form of vertical columns or single point eruption fields.

Images of distortions are blue-shifted or have a heavy blue spectral component.

Images of distortions contain about 40-125% more data/information (file size).

Distortions observed up close can be detected by Trimeters and damage electronics.

Distortions frequently accompany anomalous lights.

This phenomenon has in fact plagued an institution that borders the site. The night-time activity of these distortions has generated some concerns from the staff there. We have had several meetings with them concerning this and while they were somewhat relieved to know that this was a legitimate detectable anomaly, some worry remains due to a lack of understanding about the phenomenon. While it seems clear that there is some type of energy or field associated with this anomaly, the form in which the energy comes in is unknown. However, we believe electromagnetic energy to be the leading candidate, as we have detected fluctuations with a Trimeter in conjunction with the appearance of distortions and the electronics in three video cameras have been destroyed in the process of documenting the anomaly from a close distance
