The mobius loop/mobius transformations serve a purpose in both time and in space. I like to think of it as a hyperdimensional tool in which matter/energy can move from one dimension to the other. This is a process of motion in which spin and movemebt along the xyz vectors produce a higher dimensional dynamic simply by the act of its motion. The example of the flat one dimensional strip twisted and connected to it's reciprical endpoints to form a two dimensional object illustrates this.
In addition, this looks like a way to generate scalars from vectors, but it is more than that. It also says implicitly that i j /Upsilon k, j k /Upsilon i, and i, j, k must have inverses. This is an important observation, because it means that inner and outer tensor products can occur in the same operation. When two vector potentials aremultiplied together, a new scalar (inner tensor product) and vector (outer tensor product) are formed.
